Dallas Teacher Payal Modi Suspended For Insane ‘Mock Assassination’ Of President Trump

Dallas, Texas – A Dallas high school teacher, Payal Modi, has been suspended for showing a video of President Donald Trump to her students while shooting a squirt gun at it and shouting “Die.”

According to The Dallas Morning News,  Modi is an art teacher at W.H. Adamson High School in Dallas.

On Friday, January 20, 2017, live video of the Inauguration was being broadcast in her classroom.  The video shows Modi lunging at the white board that the video was being played on, screaming “Die”, while shooting the squirt gun numerous times at the President when he appeared.

Modi posted the eight-second video to her Instagram account with the following message:  “Watching the #inauguration in my classroom like…#no #stop #denial #squirtgun #hypocrisy #powerless #saveusall #teachthembetter #atleastitsfriday.”  The video has since been removed but several web sites still have it posted.   Modi also has made her Instagram account private.

Voices and laughter can be heard in the background other than Modi’s but it is unknown whose voices they are.  It is believed the voices are her students but school administration would not confirm if students witnessed this outrageous conduct or not.

The Secret Service field office in Irving, Texas, has said that they are aware of the video and the incident but declined to further comment.   Dallas Independent School District Administration has placed Modi on administrative leave, and has opened an investigation.  They had no further comment at this time, other than this “was a personnel matter” and they couldn’t comment.

I’m not sure which is more ironic, a teacher staging a faux-assassination or using a fake gun to make a point.  I am certain, though, that she isn’t being paid to exhibit this type of disturbing behavior in front of other students or in a public school.
