Cardi B Says She’s Becoming A Nigerian Citizen After Trump Killed Terrorist

Hip hop artist Cardi B said she would become a Nigerian citizen in response to U.S. airstrikes that killed a terrorist.

Los Angeles, CA – Hip hop artist Cardi B criticized President Donald Trump on Twitter and said she was going to become a Nigerian citizen after the U.S. launched airstrikes in Iraq.

The “Money” singer weighed in as Twitter users filled the social media platform with memes about an impending World War 3 after President Trump had U.S. drones eliminate terrorist Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, FOX News reported.

“Naaaaa these memes are f–kin [laughing emojis] but s–t ain’t no joke ! Specially being from New York .Its sad this man is putting Americans live in danger.Dumbest move Trump did till date …I’m filing for my Nigerian citizenship,” Cardi B tweeted on Jan. 3.

Although most people treated Cardi B’s declaration as being about as serious as all the liberal entertainers who promised to move to Canada if President Trump was elected in 2016, Nigerian government officials were listening, FOX News reported.

@iamcardib. As one in charge of the Diaspora for Ngr, We can’t wait to receive you again. Our doors are open, sister. And you need to talk a walk through the Door of Return in Badagry . It’s an indescribable experience,” Nigerians in Diaspora Commissioner Chairwoman Abike Dabiri-Erewa replied.

There’s no word on whether the singer will take Nigeria’s invitation.

Cardi B has previously given her support to 2020 Presidential hopeful U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), FOX News reported.

“I been reading about Bernie Sanders and I’m really sad how we let him down in 2016,” Cardi B tweeted in July of 2019. “This man been fighting for equal rights,HUMAN rights for such along time. Seeing this country become a better place been really his passion for a long time not a new front for a campaign.”

Shortly after she declared her support for Sanders, she posted a video on Instagram that slammed Republicans for not standing up to President Trump because she said they were afraid he would take things away from them.

During her tirade, the singer admitted that the reality was that President Trump might get re-elected.

“This man has a big chance of winning in 2020 and we could change that,” she ended her rant.
