Los Angeles, CA – Videos from an officer-involved shooting have been posted to social media after shots rang out a the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw mall.
KTLA reports that officers were responding to a shooting at the shopping center on Monday night at around 5:40 p.m.
UPDATE: KTLA now says, “Although LAPD originally said they were responding to a shooting, an official later said officers were sent following a report of a man with a knife.”
After officers arrived on scene, an officer-involved shooting occurred.
No information has been given on the suspect’s identity or their condition.
UPDATE: LAPD says that the suspect died on scene.
