BREAKING: Two Louisiana Police Officers Shot By Gunman Still At Large

Two police officers have been shot in Baton Rouge.

Baton Rouge, LA – Two police officers were shot in Baton Rouge on Sunday by a gunman who is not yet in custody.

The incident occurred on Conrad Drive near Winbourne Ave at around 1 p.m. according to The Advocate.

The details about the initial contact have not been released, but sometime during the incident, two officers were shot.

The gunman escaped after the shooting and a manhunt is in progress, according to WBRZ.

No information has been released on the conditions of the two officers.

UPDATE: One officer has succumbed to his injuries and the other officer is still being treated. The suspect has been captured.
