BREAKING: Trump Says The FBI Is Raiding Mar-a-Lago

Palm Beach, FL – The FBI raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort on Monday night, according to the former president.

In a statement, Trump described his Florida home as “currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.”

“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” Trump’s statement said. “It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”

Trump did not give a reason for the raid, but accused the FBI of “political persecution.”

The FBI’s search warrant, would have required them to present to a judge that they had probable cause that a crime was committed and probable cause that evidence of that crime existed in the place being searched.

It is not clear at this time what crime is being investigated or if the former president is the subject of the investigation.
