Bryan, TX – Multiple people were shot at Kent Moore Cabinets in Bryan on Thursday afternoon and then a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper was shot while chasing the gunman.

Sources told KTBX that more than six people had been shot at the business located in the 300-block of Stone City Drive.

Police responded to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting, KHOU reported.

The trooper was reportedly shot in Lola while pursuing the suspect.

Multiple victims are in critical condition, KTBX reported.

Bryan police said that at least six ambulances were on the scene, according to KHOU.

There is no information regarding the condition of the wounded trooper. UPDATE: The trooper is in stable condition and one suspect is in custody. It’s not clear at this time if there are any additional suspects.

The search for the gunman was ongoing and police radio traffic indicted that law enforcement officers from multiple agencies were following more than one suspect vehicle.
