BREAKING: Three Children Shot At Nashville Grade School

Nashville, TN – At least three children were shot by an active shooter at a private Christian grade school located in a Presbyterian church in Nashville on Monday morning.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said officers engaged the gunman and fatally shot him on March 27 at the private grade school located in the Covenant Presbyterian Church on Burton Hills Boulevard in Nashville.

Sources told WTVF that three children were shot by the gunman before police intervened.

Officials have not confirmed the number of victims, nor have they released their ages.

Authorities also have not released any information about medical conditions of the children that were transported to nearby hospitals by the fire department, WTVF reported.

The student body includes children from Preschool through 6th Grade, according to the school’s website.

Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) have responded to the scene to assist MNPD.
