Bexar County, TX – A law enforcement officer and multiple other people were shot in front of a bakery on San Antonio’s West Side on Friday morning.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on April 16 in front of the Caballero Bakery located in the 2300-block of Pinn Road, according to San Antonio and Bexar County law enforcement radio traffic on Broadcastify.
Police have asked people to avoid the area entirely, KABB reported.
San Antonio police have confirmed there was an officer-involved shooting but have not released any other details, KSAT reported.
There were unconfirmed reports that the officer was shot in the hand.
Radio traffic also indicated that there were multiple suspects down.
Nearby elementary schools, including Westwood Terrace, Meadow Village, and Cable, and Jones Middle School have been placed in a modified lockdown, KSAT reported.
