Christopher BergMansfield, PA – A Pennsylvania State Police trooper was shot during a welfare check Tuesday.
The shooting occurred during a welfare check near Masfield, according to FOP lodge 62.
The trooper’s condition is unknown, but he is being airlifted to the hospital.
No information about the suspect has been released at this time.
