BREAKING: One Officer Killed, Another Wounded In Pennsylvania

McKeesport, PA – One McKeesport police officer was fatally shot and another McKeesport police officer was wounded while responding to a domestic incident on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at about 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 6 as the officers responded to a call in the 1300-block of Grandview Avenue in McKeesport, CBS News reported.

Sources told the  that the suspect fired about 15 shots.

Two officers were shot, one of them in the face.

Sources said officers quickly returned fire and the suspect was killed at the scene, the Daily Voice reported.

One of the officers did not survive his wounds, CBS News reported.

Police have not yet identified the fallen hero, nor have officials released the name of the wounded officer.

No information about the seriousness of the second officer’s condition has been released.

Authorities have also not yet released the identity of the gunman who shot them.
