BREAKING: Officer Stabbed In Neck, Police Car Stolen

A Rocky Ford police officer was stabbed in the neck on Tuesday.

Rocky Ford, CO – A Rocky Ford police officer was stabbed in the neck and the suspect stole his police car on Tuesday.

An active manhunt is underway for the suspect and the stolen vehicle.

The incident started as a call for service in the 500 block of N. 11th Street, according to KRDO. The reason for the call has not been released.

The officer was transported to the hospital and his condition has not been released.

Neither the suspect or officer have been publicly identified as this time.

The police are asking for the public in assistance in located their fully-marked dodge charger police car.
