BREAKING: Officer Shot In Ohio, Second Seriously Wounded

One Columbus police officer was shot and another was seriously injured during a warrant service on Thursday morning.

Columbus, OH – A Columbus police officer was shot and another officer was seriously injured while serving a warrant in Northeast Columbus on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred at about 8:21 a.m. on May 28 in the 3200-block of Chelford Drive, according to a tweet posted by the Columbus Police Department.

One officer was shot and critically wounded.

He was transported to Mount Carmel East Medical Center for treatment, WCMH reported.

Another officer was seriously injured during the incident.

That officer was transported to the hospital in stable condition, WCMH reported.
