Cedar Park, TX – “Multiple” Cedar Park police officers have been shot after responding to a call in the city.
The incident occurred at around 4:20 p.m. after officers responded to a call at a residence in the area of Heritage Park Drive and Bagdad Road, according to CBS Austin.
It’s not clear what led up to the shooting, but at least three officers were reportedly hit.
The gunman has barricaded himself inside of a home and an active standoff is in progress, according to FOX 7 Austin.
The identities and conditions of the officers have not been released at this time. UPDATE: Three officers have been shot and are in stable condition.
No information about the suspect has been released at this time.
