OfficerBlueLos Angeles, CA – Nine people are reported to have been transported by ambulance following a machete attack by a man in a gas mask in the Canoga Park area of Los Angeles Saturday night.

FOX LA reporter Bill Melugin reports that the call came over the radio as a “shots fired” “officer needs help” call.
The suspect was transported by ambulance, and it’s not confirmed that he was shot by an officer.
UPDATE: Confirmed that officer shot the suspect.
UPDATE: Suspect is dead with injuries to only one other person.
