BREAKING: ‘Likely Intentional’ – Car Plows Into Pedestrians In Portland

A car appeared to intentionally plow down pedestrians at Portland State University.

Portland, OR – An SUV drove through a group of pedestrians at Portland State University on Friday, and witnesses say that the attack was intentional.

The attack happened at around 10 a.m. at SW 6th and Hall, according to WZTV.

KPTV reporter Debra Gil tweeted that Portland police say that the attack was likely intentional.

After driving through the pedestrians, the driver fled in the vehicle.

The attacker is still on the run with the vehicle. The vehicle was described as a newer model dark blue or purple SUV, according to WZTV.

The number of injured and their condition is not known at this time, but Portland Fire and Rescue reports that “multiple patients” were transported to area hospitals.

UPDATE: Suspect appears to have been taken into custody.
