Houston, TX – Law enforcement has responded to a report of an “active shooter” at the Heights High School on Tuesday.
Official said they had received reports of an active shooter and multiple law enforcement agencies, including Houston police and Houston Independent School District (HISD) police, have responded to the scene, KPRC reported. Authorities have not yet confirmed that any shots were fired or if anyone was injured.
SWAT officers have made entry to the school and are clearing the first and second floors of the main building, KPRC reported.

UPDATE: The Houston police and HISD police said that while the investigation is ongoing, officers have found no evident to substantiate the threat.
The lockdown has been lifted and school will be dismissed early.
