BREAKING: Las Vegas Shooter’s Brother Arrested At His North Hollywood Home

Police have arrested the younger brother of the Las Vegas shooter on charges of child pornography.

North Hollywood, CA – Police have arrested the younger brother of the Las Vegas shooter on charges of child pornography.

Bruce Paddock was taken into custody at his assisted living home in North Hollywood, CA, according to TMZ.

TMZ is reporting that their law enforcement sources have told them there was an ongoing investigation into Bruce Paddock, before his brother Stephen opened fire on a group of concert-goers at a festival in Las Vegas on October 1.

Sources said that a joint task force involving the FBI and the Los Angeles Police Department had received a tip about Bruce Paddock having child pornography on his computer.

The task force was already looking for Bruce Paddock before his brother Stephen committed the deadliest mass shooting in US history.

Publicity surrounding his brother’s horrific act brought Bruce Paddock to the forefront, and someone tipped police about his location.

TMZ first reported on Bruce Paddock’s checkered history on October 4.

Well-known to the California criminal justice system, Bruce Paddock had been charged with criminal threats, arson, vandalism, petty theft, burglary, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended licenses, and contempt of court.

The Paddock family has a long history of criminal behavior.

Patrick Benjamin Paddock, father of Stephen, Bruce, and Eric, was a convicted bank robber who once held a spot on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, according to the New York Daily News.

The elder Paddock was believed to have robbed multiple banks, although the other charges were dropped when he was convicted of robbing the Valley National Bank in Phoenix in 1960.

He attempted to escape from jail multiple times.

Nearly 10 years into his 20 years sentence, he successfully escaped from the federal prison in La Tuna, TX.

He was added to the FBI’s Most Wanted list until 1977, eventually re-arrested in 1978 in Oregon, and supposedly died in 1998.
