Las Vegas, NV – A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer was shot in the head from behind late Monday night.
The officer was in a fight with a suspect in front of Circus Circus when somebody walked him from behind and shot him in the head, according to KLAS.
The officer was transported to UMC Hospital and is on life support.
No information has been released about the shooter.
There was another shooting at the Lloyd George Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas around the same time.
The timeline of events is not clear at this time.
A suspect opened fire at the courthouse and officers on scene returned fire.
The suspect was hit several times, according to KLAS. The condition of the suspect has not been released.
