BREAKING: Indiana Officer Shot By Gunman

Terre Haute, IN – A police officer has been shot at the Garden Quarter apartment complex in Terre Haute on Friday night.

WTHI-TV reports that an “officer down” call went out on the radio just before 6:30 p.m.

No information has been released at this time on the officer’s condition or disposition of the shooter.

UPDATE: The gunman is not in custody. Manhunt in progress.

UPDATE: The officer did not survive. The suspect is barricaded.
