BREAKING: Harris County Deputy Shot

A Harris County deputy was shot Wednesday night.

Harris County, TX – A Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy was shot Wednesday night.

Preliminary information is that the deputy was responding to a disturbance in the 2500 block of Kiplands Way in north Harris County when they were shot, according to the sheriff’s office.

Montgomery County Police Reporter reports that the suspect may be barricaded.

The wounded deputy is reported to be alert and is being transported to the hospital. The deputy’s condition has not been released.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said that he’s on his way to the scene.
