BREAKING: Biloxi Officer Murdered Outside Police Station

A Biloxi police officer was murdered outside of their police station Sunday night.

Biloxi, MS – An officer with the Biloxi Police Department was murdered outside of the police station late Sunday night.

The circumstances surrounding any confrontation which may have led to the shooting aren’t known at this time, according to WLOX.

The unidentified officer was outside of the Lopez Quave Public Safety Center when he was shot.

The officer was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

After the shooting, the suspect fled and he remains at large. Little information is known about the suspect, but WLOX reporter Tristan Ruppert tweeted a surveillance image of the suspect. The photo appears to be a black male with a red beanie, black t-shirt, blue shorts, dark socks and shoes.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Anybody with information about the suspect is urged to call police immediately.
