Atlanta, GA – An Atlanta police officer was shot at a midtown apartment building on Wednesday afternoon.
Numerous police officers responded to the area of near 3rd Street and Peachtree Street on June 30, WSB reported.
Officers have shut down part of Peachtree Street.
There are reports that there were at least two additional gunshot victims from the incident but officials have not confirmed that information.
The Atlanta Police Department’s SWAT team has been called to the scene, according to WSB.
No information on the condition of the wounded officer has been released.
