Moody, AL – A Moody police officer was shot Tuesday night outside of the Super 8 motel in the 2000 block of Moody Parkway.
No details about what led up to the shooting have been released at this time.
Bursts of gunshots were heard in the area, and Moody Police Chief Thomas Hunt confirmed that a male police officer was shot and transported to the hospital.
Two suspects are in custody with another possibly barricaded, according to WBMA.
No information about the condition of the officer has been released at this time.
