BREAKING: Active Shooter In Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office

Dallas, TX – Authorities are responding to an active shooter at the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office in Dallas.

The incident was initially reported at around 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the building off of Stemmons Freeway north of Wycliff Avenue, according to CBS11.

NBC5 reporter Allie Spillyards reported that the incident was a murder suicide with one dead victim and one dead suspect.

UPDATE: The shooter fatally shot one person, wounded a second victim, and then killed themself, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The two victims were employees of the medial examiner’s office.

Authorities have not yet made an official statement on the incident.

The office building is being evacuated at this time.

The identities of the suspect and victim have not been released at this time.
