Omaha, NE – Three people were shot Tuesday night, and Douglas County has confirmed that one of the victims is a police officer.
The incident happened at Evans Tower at 24th St. and Evans St. at around 10:20 p.m., according to KETV.
Details about what led up to the shooting have not been released at this time, but a police officer and two other people were shot.
It’s not clear at this time if the suspect is among those shot. The conditions of the other two people have not been released at this time.
KETV reports that the officer was hit in the leg and is in serious condition.
UPDATE: The officer was shot on a domestic disturbance call and is expected to recover. The male suspect and female victim are both dead. No information has been released about how they were killed.
