BREAKING: 3 Georgia Officers Shot In Locust Grove

Two Henry County deputies and a Locust Grove police officer were shot this morning in Georgia.

Locust Grove, GA – Multiple police officers were shot in Henry County on Friday morning, WSB-TV reported.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that two Henry County sheriff’s deputies and one Locust Grove police officer were shot at the Hawthorne in Linden Park in the 1200 block of St. Francis Court in Locust Grove.

Two have been airlifted to a local hospital. One was transported by ambulance. The man who shot them is dead, according to tweets by WSB-TV.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Henry County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Henry County Police, Locust Grove Police, and an agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were on the scene investigating, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported.

A police escort with three ambulances arrived at Atlanta Medical Center, according to WSB.

WSB reported that they’re being told there may be more victims coming from the shooting scene, and that there may be more than one scene being investigated.

Two houses were blocked off with crime scene tape on St. Francis Court, with another yard taped off on the corner of the street, several houses down.

Locust Grove Elementary School was put into lockdown, and parents have been contacted.
