Pine Bluff, AR – Two Pine Bluff police officers were shot at a motel on North Blake Street on Monday.
The incident occurred at about noon on Oct. 5 in front of the Econo Lodge, KATV reported.
Both officers were airlifted to University of Arkansas Medical School in Little Rock for treatment.
The Pine Bluff Police Department said that one of the officers was in critical condition, KATV reported.
Police said officers were investigating in the area when the shooting began.
Authorities have taken multiple people have been taken into custody and at least one of those people has been identified as a suspect, according to KATV.

The shootings come just one month after Pine Bluff Police Chief Kelvin Sergeant was fired and reinstated by the mayor, according to KATV.
