Woodinville, WA – Two King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies were shot at an apartment complex on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Beaumont Apartment complex in the 18900-block of 141st Avenue Northeast, KIRO reported.
One of the deputies was shot in the back and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The second deputy was rushed to EvergreenHealth Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the arm, KIRO reported.
Both deputies were conscious when they were transported to the hospitals.
The KCSO later tweeted that both deputies suffered “serious – but not life threatening – injuries.”
The suspect was fatally shot during the confrontation, police sources told KIRO.
