Los Angeles, CA – Two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were shot in their heads in an apparent ambush attack Saturday night.
Fox11 reporter Bill Melugin reports that the two deputies were sitting in a vehicle when they were both ambushed and shot in the head at the Compton PAX station.
The suspect is still at large, according to ABC7 reporter Leanne Suter.
No suspect information has been released at this time.
Both deputies were transported to the hospital.
UPDATE: The two officers are in very critical condition. The would-be assassin is still at large. Authorities don’t have any suspect description besides a male who was wearing dark clothing.
