Black Lives Matter Judge, James Robert, Issues Nationwide Halt On President Trump’s Immigration Orde

Seattle, Washington – U.S. District Judge James Robart issued a nationwide halt on President Trump's immigration executive order on Friday.

Seattle, Washington – U.S. District Judge James Robart issued a nationwide halt on President Trump’s immigration executive order on Friday. Judge Robart is the same judge who accused the Seattle police union of killing black people and proclaimed “Black Lives Matter” from the bench.

Wednesday evening, Judge Robart issued an immediate restraining order on the President’s executive order banning travel from foreign nationals from seven Muslim countries that hold terrorist bases.

Washington and Minnesota had filed a lawsuit against the federal government to halt the travel ban, and Judge Robart declared that the states were likely to succeed in their lawsuits before issuing the restraining order.

The Justice Department responded by saying, “The department looks forward to reviewing the court’s written order and will determine next steps.”

In August 2016, Judge Robart was presiding over a 2012 consent decree requiring the city to adopt reforms to address Department of Justice allegations of biased policing and excessive force. The proposed changes will have a major effect on all union members, including discipline being investigated and determined by non-law enforcement investigators. The changes make it faster and easier to discipline an officer if the public believes that the officer was wrong, whether or not that was actually the case.

Judge Robart went on a rant about deadly force statistics against black people and proclaimed, “Black Lives Matter.”

Despite some of the proposed reforms seeming outlandish, the Seattle Police Officer’s Guild has been mostly going along with the process without much pushback. However, the guild voted to reject the proposed contract after they were upset that the negotiation deals were leaked to the media and Black Lives Matter groups.

The vote resulted in Judge Robart threatening to intervene if he determined that the guild was interfering with any proposed process that was under the blanket of “police reform.” Which basically gives the city a go-ahead to implement any changes they want to the disciplinary process, with the union having no say.

During Judge Robart’s self-righteous rant, he stated, “I’m sure the entire city of Seattle would march behind me.”

Do you think that this obviously biased judge should be allowed to rule on executive orders issued by President Trump? We’d like to hear from you. Please let us know your thoughts on our Facebook page or in the comments below.
