Antifa Burns U.S. Flag At Protest, So Philly Officer Steps Up

Antifa burned an American flag during a protest on Saturday.

Philadelphia, PA – A small crowd of Antifa set a U.S. Flag on fire while marching in Philly on Saturday.

It’s not clear if they were trying to co-opt the Women’s March, but the Antifa crowd were said not to be involved in the Women’s March, which has been peaceful for a second year.

SEPTA Police Chief Thomas J. Nestel III tweeted that the Antifa were at 16th Street and John F. Kennedy Boulevard when they set fire to the flag.

Philly police were forced to block traffic to keep people from running over the self-imagined badasses. But then an unidentified Philly officer walked over, saluted the burnt remains of the flag, and collected it for proper disposal.
