Orange Park, FL – 30 females were involved in a wild brawl at the Orange Park Mall, which was captured on cell phone video (below.)
Clay County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Orange Park Mall on Saturday around 6:15 PM when the fight broke out. The fight appears to have included mostly teenage and young adult females. the fight went on for several minutes before it finally broke up and people left.
Five people in total were arrested after the fight. Those arrests included a 20-year-old who was arrested for resisting an officer without violence and trespassing after warning, and a juvenile who was arrested for battery on a law enforcement officer and trespassing without warning, according to Action News. Three additional juveniles were arrested for resisting arrest without violence and were later released to their parents.
News4Jax spoke with several people at the mall who gave their assessment.
“That’s not right. It’s the way they’re growing up,” Lamont Wilson said. “It’s what they see.”
“That’s the way things are,” an unnamed shopper said. “People aren’t comfortable anymore. Don’t have any family life. That’s why I don’t go there.”
